I am a Mum to 4 children & 2 stepchildren so my household is busy! Ages range from 22 years to 18 months. I have enjoyed over 20 years working in early years & social care & am delighted to have joined you all at NBU5's.
I love theatre & the arts & being outdoors in the Natural world.
Tina Ivan - Deputy Setting Lead
I am Tina, a mum to 3 children aged 9, 15 & 16 years. In my spare time I enjoy walking Teddy my dog, reading and afternoon teas with friends.
Since qualifying in 1991, I have worked in various childcare settings, and I have also enjoyed being a nanny to 4 different families.
Whilst at NBU5's my favourite things are sticky kids, dancing, cooking and reading/singing.
After time away from the setting it really is a joy to be back.
Kate Whelan - Early years practitioner - Level 3
Hi I'm Kate, I have been at NBU5's for about 7 years and enjoy my job, I have completed my level 3 while working and learnt a lot of new knowledge to bring to the pre-school.
I enjoy cooking with the children and planning fun activities that we can adapt while the children are playing and helping children learn life skills to help them grow into wonderful little people.
Lisa Thomasson - Early years practitioner apprentice - Level 3
Hi I'm Lisa, mum to 2 (15 & 10 yrs), in my spare time I love to walk my dog, bike ride in the local woods, and spend time with friends and family.
I've been with NBU5's for a year now, and I absolutely love my job! I love to get stuck in with the children, whether they're turning me into a bat, feeding me mud and pine cone soup, telling me about their favourite things, or sharing a story! It's great to be part of a team who all care s much about what they do. Every single day is different with many joys and challenges all thrown in. Handing out with little people all day... it really couldn't get much better in my eyes!
